Restoration of the filming of Robert Badinter’s speech
Restoration of Robert Badinter’s 1981 speech on the abolition of the death penalty
The images of this speech were captured by television of the French National Assembly. Their quality is therefore very poor.
Thanks to the support of the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel (INA), we were able to access a qualified database, and thus to experiment with the restoration by Artificial Intelligence of degraded television media on the images of this famous speech.
Imki was in charge of the restoration of archival video footage, from the INA collection.
